Vlad, a core member of the post-human validator team, champions Web3 as the singular positive pathway to transform the world and improve it for many people. He views himself as a "slave of the machine" who understands the necessity to decentralize himself, a principle he extends to the entire Web3 ecosystem. His personal journey, spanning from a background in illustrations and activism to becoming a validator, underscores a profound commitment to distributed systems. Vlad recalls his involvement in various human rights, ecological, social, and animal rights movements, where he often grappled with the challenge of achieving consensus and creating horizontal societies. Upon discovering blockchain technology, he immediately recognized it as a practical implementation of the consensus he had long sought. For Vlad, the digital realm offers an unparalleled opportunity to conduct social and economic experiments without the dire consequences often seen in the material world. He emphasizes that if humanity desires to forge new models of society—be it economic, social, or governmental—these experiments need not first be tried in the physical world, which historically has led to much suffering. Instead, "we can create the model in the digital world," observe its efficacy, and then implement successful solutions. This approach bypasses the "dark ages of industrial centralized totalitarism" and allows for rapid evolution. He posits that the digital world and the material world are equally real, just different facets of our shared reality, with digital tools offering a faster and more efficient means to effect change. A key tenet of Vlad's philosophy revolves around trustless systems. He eloquently states, "In the structures that are trustless I don't spend my energy to trust the system. I don't need to trust the blockchain, it works without my trust." This liberation from trusting the system itself allows participants to redirect their energy towards building trust among fellow humans, fostering a higher level of inter-participant trust in decentralized environments. He sees the evolution of governance moving inexorably towards decentralization, allowing more individuals to participate meaningfully. While acknowledging that current Web3 governance models are imperfect and prone to mistakes, he firmly believes they are already superior to any existing centralized system, and their rapid iterative development promises even greater perfection without the human cost of past revolutions. Vlad's commitment to decentralization extends directly to the operation of validators. He views validation as "the highest level of the contribution to the network," providing essential security. Through his early work as a community advocate for Cosmos Station, he gained deep insights into the Cosmos ecosystem, which he considers "the best and the most interesting" due to its community-centric, enthusiastic, and problem-solving nature. He became an evangelist, seeing all projects as collaborators rather than competitors. This led him to establish the "Validator Show" to promote cooperation among validators, an ethos that culminated in the creation of the Distributed Validator Synchronization (DVS) initiative. This initiative, co-founded with other validators, aims to shift the focus from competition for delegators to collective security provision and mutual support. "We stop to be enemies. We don't fight and I can easily tell delegate to any of the validators. We not compete anymore for the delegators... Distributed ego," he explains, highlighting the principle that the interest of others becomes one's own interest. Addressing the issue of single points of failure, Vlad advocates for the decentralization of the validator entity itself, not just the network it supports. He envisions a future where delegators hold governance power over the validators they support, able to influence parameters like commission or even the operational status of a node through collective vote. This led to the development of the PHMN token, which grants governance power and a share of the post-human validator's income to its holders. The ultimate goal is to build a Posthuman blockchain, where the validator's operations are automated via smart contracts and validated by other, independent validators, further embodying trustlessness and shared responsibility. Vlad also acknowledges the gradual nature of this decentralization, noting that while the Posthuman team may still hold a significant portion of governance power, it's "much more or less than all others," who typically retain 100%. Beyond core validation, Posthuman is deeply involved in several ambitious projects. The Sputnik Network, for instance, began as a simple tool for sending crypto tips on Web2 platforms like Telegram and Twitter. It is evolving into a comprehensive blockchain ecosystem with distinct tokens for economic utility (Neutron), social governance (Electron), validator protection (Proton), and cultural engagement (Photon). The "Metarchy" game, integrated into Sputnik, is a turn-based strategy game where players influence sponsorships through voting and earn sponsor tokens, representing a novel "triangle of love" where gamers, sponsors, and the game mutually benefit. This game, alongside others planned, will allow NFTs to transfer between different virtual worlds, fostering a rich, interconnected digital culture. Vlad's vision extends to tangible real-world impact. Posthuman validator channels some of its income into charity, establishing physical spaces in places like Abuja, Nigeria, and Sri Lanka. These centers provide free internet and computers to local communities, enabling individuals to learn development and design skills. He shares inspiring stories of people who, through these initiatives, transition from low-wage labor to earning significantly more as freelance developers, transforming their own lives and the lives of those around them. This effort underscores his belief that "all you need is to have access to the internet and the computer" to become a Web3 developer, demonstrating how digital efforts can directly improve the material world. Ultimately, Vlad's overarching message is one of personal and systemic decentralization. He views the refusal to decentralize responsibility as a path to negative outcomes, warning, "If you centralize everything on yourself in one moment you will be or die from there is this responsibilities or you will be like a Lukashenko. Nobody will love you." He advocates for sharing responsibility with others who demonstrate a high level of commitment, thereby achieving greater success and fostering a truly collaborative and resilient ecosystem. His work with Posthuman validator, therefore, is not merely about technical operation, but about building a better, more equitable, and decentralized future on multiple interconnected fronts.
